General Info about Playa
Taxis can be found anywhere in the city. A little bit of bargaining will take you to many places at reasonable prices.
	Internet Cafes are all over Playa del Carmen and in more and more places even free Wireless LAN connections (Hot Spots) are available. So, take your laptop with you and you can stay in close contact with friends and family. Laundry is usually no problem. Ask in the school where you can find reliable lavanderias, these usually come at a low cost as well.. Restaurants can be found everywhere on the 5th Avenida (same street as our school), which forms the heart of Playa's social life.
Nightlife in Playa is abundant and focuses on the beach and the 5th Avenida. There is something for everyone from bars with or without life music up to clubs filled by hip and leisure crowds. Gyms can also be found. Just ask in the school so that you don't have to miss your favourite aerobic class. Although we would rather recommend a salsa course with us :-)
